About 30 Years of Pick Swapping - Stories Behind

You know, standing in the first row, you raise your hand, hold your guitar pick in your fingertips and wish to catch the attention of the Guitar Hero in front of you. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
I've got some success stories. Please fill in the gaps or correct me if you remember the gigs (and dates) better. Feel free to comment and share your own pick-related tales.

Henk:

Henk Hofstede / Nits, Vanha 2.12.1995

Our favorite Dutch band was on the road, celebrating an era to come to an end. After the "Nest" tour was Robert Jan Stips to leave the band, but we didn't know it yet.

Vanha ("The Old Student House") was stiffed with true fans, familiar faces from previous gigs.. The band played again another great and relaxed gig, first time for Brother and me as a true rock'n'roll band. Henk's guitars (Fender Jazzmaster and some acoustic) filled a bigger part in the sound than usual.

After the first encore "Adieu Sweet Bahnhof", while the crowd was cheering and the band laughing, I noticed Henk in the center stage. I called him to come near, gave my pick, and he gladly offered me his with a polite thanks. OK, he's always been a fine musician, this great fan of Finland, and we love him.
